MR. W. T. JONES.

THE RELIABILITY SADDLER. Pukekohe is fortunate in many respects on account of it possessing a number of first-class tradesmen in its midst, but to possess a reliable saddler is something for a distruct such as this to be proud of. In spite of the fact that motor traffic has come to stay, still the bulk of work is done by means of the slow but sure horse. The latter wants harness, and Mr. W. T. Jones, the reliability saddler, realising that a number of exhibitors at the show next week would require a tip-top set of harness,, has imported a line of English harness,, which he claims to be the best that has ever been imported into this country. The Easter holiday season is but four weeks off, and no doubt many will be travelling. On page Bof to-day’s issue, Mr. Jones introduces travelling bags galore. Included in his large new stocks are solid leather kit bags, brief bags, suit cases, attache cases, portmanteaux, and school bags, all at bedrock figures. The articles are all ne>v and have only just arrived. Don’t forget enterprising firm if you are in need of harness or travelling bags.

FARMERS’ TRADING CO.

ORGANISATION OF DELIVERIES.

This firm has now organised a delivery service covering the whole district, which will come into force on March 1. This is a progressive move on the part of the Farmers’ Union Trading Company and means progress for the district also. Chatting with the genial manager, Mr. Russell, our representative was told that the delivery service, which will be by motor lorry, will have the following itinerary:—Pukekohe East and Buckland, Mandays and Thursdays; Bombay district, Tuesdays and Fridays; Maulku, Wednesdays. It will thus be seen that a really cocmprehensive service has been planned, which will prove of the utmost value to the whole district.
