BLIND ROADS UNWELCOME.

SUBDIVISION NECESSARY. An application was received b>- the Boiough Council on Wednesday night r , appi ove of a plan for subdivision, by the trustees of a local estate, which included a blind road.

The Mayor and Councillors pointed out that subdivision of properties was always welcomed, but disapproved ol having any blind roads in the borough. it was decided to reply to those concerned that the plan would be approved providing arrangements could be made to have a through road constructed. The Council would not accept dedication of a road with a dead end.
