THE AUTUMN SHOW.
The great event of the month is the taking place on February 25 and 26 of the Franklin Agricultural and Pastoral -Society’s This show is not merely a Aikekohe event, it is a district enterprise and demands district support. This year His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion, Viscount Jellicoe, of Jutland fame, will be pi’esent and this fact will lend extra lustre to the event. To-day, the secretary advertises that the time for receiving entries has been extended until the 12th of this month,, and it is to be hoped tha every enthusiast will make an entry or entries well before that time. As a district advertisement the Franklin Show stands unrivalled and it is the plain duty of all interested in the district to further the inerests of the show. We urge, therefore, upon all in the prosperous Franklin district to “buck in” and help see that this year’s event is a record in number of entries, in a financial sense and as a truly representative district show.
