TOWN CLOCK.

FOR MANUREWA. The Manurewa Town Board is making a laudable effor to help the town by endeavouring to raise sufficient funds to install a town clock on the new post offtice. The matter is to be brought before the Government with the object of securing a subsidy. Meanwhile the Board is doing what it can locally. At a meeting of the Board last evening the list wasipassed round among, members and no less that £l2 12s was subscribed in the room. This is the spirit which wins and at no very distant date there will be a handsome clock in a prominent position of tha Manurewa post office.
