DUNEDIN BURNS CLUB
The Dunedin Burns Club will present a bright and novel entertainment, reminiscent of the age-old Hallowe’ens of Scotland, in His Majesty’s Theatre on October 31. Songs, rousing choruses, dialogues, “ canlie ” stories, and national dances will all be staged against an appropriate background, and should give patrons a night of genuine enjoyment. The celebration of’ Hallowe’en is one of the many ancient customs which true Scotsmen, wherever they forgather, rarely miss,-and it is one of the objects of the Burns Club to maintain the old traditions and hand them down to posterity. The box plan is now open at Begg's.
