SHARE MARKET. McLeod Bros, were sold at £25 on ’Change, this morning, after which the market closed at £24 17s 6d-£25 10s. Two other sales were reported, New Zealand Insurance at 72s 6d and National Bank of New Zealand at 45s 3d, with a buyer still offering 455. Bank of N.Z. had al closer market, a buyer offering 39s 6d, with a seller 6d away. Standard - Insurance rose to 67s 3d (buyer). P. and O. deferred stock also rose to 36s 6d (buyer). In the gas, coal, and oil section Kaitangata were sought at 32s 3d, Westport at 255, Wesl-port-Stcckton (pref.) at 8s 4d, and Taranaki at 5s 3d. West.port-Stockt.on (ord.) were on offer at 2s lOd and Oil Developments at 4s, and Moturoa (pref.) were quoted at 3s-4s. There was the usual demand for woollens. Miscellaneous shares attracted buyers, hut few sellers, with recent rates ruling. New Zealand were quoted at 33s 6d-345. SALE. —This Morning.— McLeod Bros., £25. 11EPORTED ! SALES. The Slock Exchange Association has been advised by cable that the directors of Australian Consolidated .Industries have decided lo declare the following dividends; (a) 4j per cent, on preference shares for (he half-year ended September 30; (b) an interim dividend of per cent, on fullypaid ordinary shares.
