WANAKA TOURNEY The Wanaka Golf Club’s annual tournament was concluded on Saturday under ideal conditions. The following were the results:— Women’s Central Otago and Open Championship:—Mrs Harris 86 —81—167, Mrs Anderson 87—87—174, Mrs G. Morris 86—91 177. Women’s Pour-ball Bogey.—Mrs Harris 81 —11 —70, Mrs G. Morris 86 —12—74, Mrs Ewing 96—19—77, Mrs Anderson 87—8—79. Women’s Four-ball Bogey.—Mrs Harris and Mrs Anderson, 2 up; Mrs Scott and Mrs Duncan, all square; Mrs Ewing and Mrs McKegg, 2 down; Mrs Scaife and Mrs Milne, 2 down. Men’s Open Championship.—J. H. McDougall (Otago) 71—79—150, J. Perrow (Wanaka) 80—76—156, W, Lopdell (Clyde) 84—76—160. Men’s Central Otago Championship.—J. Perrow (W.) 80-76-158. W. Lopdell (Clyde) 84 —76—160, P. Collings (Wanaka) 86—89—175. Men’s Open Handicap.—K. W. S. Sotting (Otago) 83-18-65, W. Lopdell (Clyde) 76 —9—67, J. Perrow (Wanaka) 76—7—69, I. Carr (Otago) 80—8—72, A. Wilson (Wanaka) 90—18—72. Men’s Four-ball Bogey.—A. Wilson and 0. Gawn (Wanaka), 4 up; J. Perrow (Wanaka) and I. Carr (Otago), 3 up; F. Collings and G. Morris (Wanaka), 3 up; W. Hotop and F. Tempero (Cromwell), 3 up. A dance was held in the Wanaka Hall in the evening, when the president (Mr J. Perrow) presented the prizes won during the tournament.
