CHRISTMAS GIFT PARCELS. Until October 31 New Zealanders will be allowed to post to civilians in* Britain for the forthcoming Christmas period cakes, fruit, and puddings up to the full weight limit of olb gross allowed in respect of any one gift parcel. Announcing this, Mr Webb said on no account must the weight exceed 51b gross, otherwise the parcels will be seized. Mr Webb added that there was no change of the system permitting parcels up to 111 b gross for New Zealand servicemen in Britain.—Press Association.
