TRIAL MATCHES The Otago Women’s Hockey Association and the junior grade players of the Men’s Association held trial matches at the Oval on Saturday afternoon. The women’s A 1 and A2 senior teams played a trial game for the purpose of selecting a representative team, and the men’s junior grade University team played the “ Rest,” winning easily by nine points to four. This match was also played to select a representative team. The five senior men’s teams played a seven-a-side tournament at Tonga Park, the result being: University 1, Albany 2, Air Force 3.
