ROYAL DUNEDIN MALE CHOIR

A refreshing and varied programme has been chosen by the Royal Dunedin Male Choir for its concert to be given in the Concert Chamber on September 14. Two fine works will be presented in Urn first half—the well-known ‘ Songs of the Fleet ’ fsoloist, Mr John Pringle), and ‘To the Sons of Art.’ Intermixed are a number of popular part songs. The other items include two Welsh airs. ‘ The Ash Grove ’ and ‘ In the Vale of Llangollen.’ ‘ Marchin"' Along,’ the hymn, ‘ Lead, Kindly Light,’ ‘l’m a Jolly Rover,’ and ‘The Autumn Sea.’ The choir soloists are Messrs R. G. Mitchell and F. C. Cooper. Mrs Dorothy Rush will present, ’cello solos, and Miss Mcda Paine’s deservedly popular Oeciha Choir "'ill be heard in two groups of offerings.
