ALGIE'S NOTABLE RECORD The finals of the table tennis championships were concluded on Monday night in the V.M C.A. gymnasium before a largo audience. The main attraction was again the playing of R. Aigie, who won three events m the course of the tournament. When presenting him with the singles championship cup, the president, Mr J. H Miller, mentioned ills notable performance in winning the cup for the sixth year in succession. Other successful players were Miss E. Latta (who- retained her singles title), Misses J Holt and N. Parker (who won the ladies’ championship and handicap doubles), and Mrs F. Monk and P. Patou (of Auckland, who won the mixed doubles). The following were the results:— Men’s championship singles, E. A. Aigie: men’s championship doubles, Friend and Bremford; mixed championship doubles, Airs Monk and F. Patou; ladies’ championship singles, Miss E. Latta; ladies’ championship doubles, Misses J. Holt and N. Parker. Men’s A grade singles handicap, R. A. Aigie; men's A grade doubles, R. A. Aigie and E. W. Dunbar; men’s B grade singles, C. O’Brien; men’s B grade doubles, B. Hurndell and P. Woods; men’s C grade singles. W. Jenkins; men’s C grade doubles, R. Honeyman and W. Waterman; men’s D grade singles, W. Waterman; men’s D grade doubles, R. McSkimming and J. Curran. , Ladies A grade singles, Miss Duckworth; ladies’ A grade doubles, Misses J. Holt and N. Parker; Indies’ B grade singles, Mrs Hiscoke; ladies’ B grade doubles, Misses G.
