INTOXICATED MOTORIST [Pee United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, October 8. A sentence of seven days was imposed by Mr Morling, S.M., on Vincent Price (51), a coal merchant, for intoxication while in charge of a motor car on the Blockhouse Bay road last night. The police stated that after a collision with another car Price’s car was pursued, and Price was taken to the police station, where a doctor certified intoxication. Defending counsel said it was a borderline case, and suggested a fine. The magistrate also cancelled accused’s license for a year.
