CLOTHING TRADES
FURTHER SUSPENSIOH ORDER [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, October 3. A recent labour legislation suspen*. sion order facilitated the operation ot certain clothing trades by waiving the apprenticeship requirements in respect to female workers entering the trade after reaching 21 years, provided they received the prescribed rates of wages* A second clothing trade labour suspension order, gazetted to-night, extends the application of the first order to female workers in the shirt, white, and silk working and the dressmaking and millinery trades.
