MISSING AIRMEN

THE SEARCH PROCEEDING [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, October 3. An extensive search which was carried out to-day by Royal New Zealand Air Force machines over an area between Pipiriki and north of Mokan failed to reveal traces of the Oxford aicraft and crew of three missing since Monday afternoon. The plana was on a flight from Hobsonville to Ohakea. The search will be resumed to-morrow, when an area along lines which might, have been traversed by the missing aircraft will again ba covered.

No definite report .has yet been, received: which*’ tiftpit give some indict tion of the whereabouts of the' missing machine.
