OTAGO V. SOUTHLAND The return match between Otago and Southland for the Donald Stuart Memorial Shield will bo played at Carisbrook on Saturday. This match has been looked forward to with a great deal of interest. When Otago played Southland for the Ranfurfy Shield at the beginning of August the latter had a decisive win, but tho Otago team has been considerably improved since then, and it should put up a good game against its redoubtable opponents. Two curtain-raisers will bo played. At noon a South Otago third S-ade representative team will play a unedin fourth grade representative team. At 1.30 the Otago Referees will play the Southland Referees for a cup which has been donated for this annual fixture. The box plan will open at Begg’s to-morrow, and will close nt 11 on Saturday morning. Patrons are reminded that admission to the stand enclosure will be by the Burns street entrance only. Ground tickets will bo on sale in town, at tho Otago Sports Depot, and at Jacobs’s. Official Guides, containing full particulars of teams and players, will be on sale at the Otago Snorts Depot, Jacobs’s, and Carisbrook.
