The above club held a race from Green Island to Brighton. R. Stewart was the.first to go, being followed by. R. Brice, W. Matehett, W. Sare, and D. Brown, this bunch leaving four minutes after the first man. S. Macartney,. 0. Ralston, and W. Haig left three minutes later, followed by L. Bell and 0. Gardiner six minutes and A. Woodford (scr) two minutes later* R. Stewart was the first to turn at Brighton, with Price, Sare, and Matehett If minutes later, then came Macartney, Haag, Ralston, and Brown 3 minutes, ..with Beil and Gardiner five minutes, and A. Woodford. The 11-minute hunch Host, no time on the way back, and in a good finish W. Sare was the first to cross the lino, with W. Matcnett next ' and R. Price third. Results;—W. Sara 1, W.
