STRIPPED OF THEIR FORCE
COMMUNIST AND NAZI CREEDS MR CHURCHILL SEES ADVANTAGE DF PACT NEW YORK, September 21. > (Received September 22, at 2 p.m.) Mr Winston Churchill, in a written article in ‘ Collier’s Magazine,’ called the Soviet-Nazi Pact “ a grand advantage to mankind.” “The Pact stripped by a single stroke Russian Communism and Nazi anti-Communism of their whole theme, their credentials, and their means of appealing to the mind and spirit of men,” he said. “ Instead of two powerful and, to certain types of mind, captivating philosophies, we have a couple of sets of rival gangsters joining forces, pooling their luck, and trying to shoot their way out with any loot they can , carry through the G-men of civilisation.”
