RELIGIOUS WORKS BANNED IN GERMANY
A notice published in the ‘ Official Gazette ’ on the authority of Herr Himmler, chief of the German police, announces the banning in Germany of a collection of the sermons of Dr Niemoller, Pastor of Dahlem, who has been confined in a concentration camp for nearly 18 months. The proscribed book, published in Dutch by D. A. Daameh and Company, of The Hague, is entitled ‘ The Last 28 Sermons of Dr Martin Niemoller, Held in the Years 1936 and 1937 at Berlin-Dahlem.’
The same notice bans a hook, published in Lucerne under the title ‘ Sunday: Christian Reading for Those Who Hav'e. Left School. Part 11., Christ and the Church.’ This book is published on episcopal authority.
