AOTEAROA RETURNS
SURVEY FLIGHT OVER SUVA ROUTE [Pek United Pbess Association.] AUCKLAND, September 10. Having made a successful exploratory, survey flight over the route between Auckland and Suva, the Tasman Empire Airways flying boat Aotearoa returned to Auckland to-day. Commanded by Captain Burgess, the Aotearoa left Auckland on Thursday morning and arrived at Suva after an uneventful flight. Among those on board was Group-captain Wilkes, Controller of Civil Aviation. Leaving again this morning the flying boat made the return survey flight across the Pacific without incident.
