The King arrived in London from his holiday at Balmoral, and drove to Buckingham Palace unrecognised by a largo crowd at Euston station which had gathered to welcome him. He had breakfast with Queen Mary at the palace. QUEEN TRANSFERS TO MARLBOROUGH HOUSE
LONDON, October 1. (Received October 2, at 10.5 a.m.) Queen Mary left the Palace after lunch to take up her permanent residence at Marlborough House, where her personal standard was hoisted. The King accompanied his mother to her new residence.
