HOCKEY

SECOND GRADE. High School 4. Old Boys’ Colts 1. JUNIOR HOCKEY HIGH SCHOOL DEFEAT OLD BOYS By winning an evenly-contested and hartl-fought game by 4 goals to 1 the Otago Boys’ High School gained possession of the cup played for annually by these teams. Old Boys made the well-balanced School team light hard to win. Aldred was the pivot of the School attack, and was supported by Colvin, these two being always dangerous. Bennell and Campbell were the best two of the Old Boys’ team, and were unlucky not to score, particularly in the second spell. Mr J. R. Northey was the referee.
