Patterson (Palmerston North), 'sh 43min 22 2-ssec 3 The winner had a handicap of 4mm; the second man Omin, and the third man 9min. The fastest time was put up by O. Dislev (Wellington), who, from scratch, (lid the journey in 2h 3omin 13sec. J. Williams (Napier), also off scratch, put up the next best performance, his time being one-fiftli of a second behind that of Disley. A heavy north-west wind made the race a gruelling one.
