BIBLE CLASS TOURNAMENT

RUGBY AND BASKETBALL The Otago Methodist Bible Class Union’s combined Rugby and basketball tournaments were held at Logan Park on Saturday. The * seven-a-side Rugby produced some really good football, and the winners in liotn sections must be congratulated on the very good play produced. In the evening a very enjoyable social was held in the* Caversham Sunday School Hall. The Rev. B. M. Tasker, the president of the Young Men’s Movement, presented the winning teams with the trophies won earlier in the day. There were 13 Rugby teams and 10 basketball teams (180 players) competing, and 120 attended the social in- the evening. Duridas street did not lose on© game, and are the first holders of the cup.
