'OUTWARD BOUND '

LITTLE THEATRE PRODUCTION The fourth major production of the Dunedin Little Theatre Society, ‘ Outward Bound,’ has provided a difficult test, but the society has come through with flying colours. The play deals with the after life, a trip by ship to the other world, and the final examination. Although a certain amount of tragedy is presented, the author, Sutton Vane, has introduced some delightfully humourous incidents, and th’ play, finely handled by a good cast, provided an excellent evening’s entertainment. H. H. Westwood, as the steward on the ship of death, very effectively portrayed a difficult role, while others in the cast included Elsie Stephens, Gordon Whitta, E. Fish, and G. Marks. ‘ Outward Bound ’ will be presented for the last time this evening.
