NEARING THE CENTURY
TEN-YEAR-OLD TEA ENGAGEMENT [Per United Press Association.] HAMILTON, September 26. ' On the occasion of the one hundredth birthday of Mr Philip Le Quesne, of Hamilton, on Wednesday, October 7, a promise given by Archbishop Averill 10 years ago will be fulfilled. His Grace’s birthday is on the same day, when he will be 71. When calling on Mr Le Quesne 10 years ago he promised that, if he reached 100, he would have tea with him. Archbishop Averill stated to-day that he would fulfil hi* promise.
