GOLDEN HELMET FOUND BY WORKMEN
A helmet of pure gold has been found by workmen engaged in making a- road near the village of Fony, in the county,, of Abauj, writes the Budapest correspondent of the London 1 Observer.’ The helmet is of beautiful workmanship. and is encrusted with a design done in silver. An expert states the number of finds thrown up near the village of Fony points to the existence of a Scythian burying place, and the helmet is believed to be such as were used by Scythian warriors.
