MUSSELBURGH SCHOOL

o The monthly meeting of the Musselburgh School Committee was held during the week, Mr D. Highet occupying the chair. The head master reported that the roll number now stood at 650, with an average attendance of 520. New pupils to the number of 22 had boon enrolled, while 13 had been transferred. "There were several changes in the staff, Miss Hanning leaving to take up an appointment at Macandrew Bay, while Mr Kerens and Miss McDonald were added to the staff. Devotional exercises were commenced in each room from Standards I. to VI. at the beginning of the term, and have been reverently and well conducted. It was decided to hold the annual flower show in the classrooms on. Friday afternoon next.
