TRAINING AT RANDWICK

Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, September 24. (Received September 24, at 2 p.m.) Randwick training was rather spoiled by rain. On the course proper Mala was responsible for the best work of the morning, covering the mile in Imin 43sec, the first half being run in 51sec with Prince’s Son, then he was joined by Golden Treasure, the late naturally going bettor at the finish. Gustos worked very easily', taking 67sec for the last four furlongs of the gallop. Allunga is looking well after his race at _ Victoria Park yesterday. His trainer is now confident that he will go on the right way. Pladio covered the mile in Imin 47sec and led Verberry, who went well. Gold Rod, in view of the strenuous gallop on Tuesday, was not worked. Cuddle displayed keenness, running four furlongs on the tan in 51-Jsec.
