CAMPBELL-BLACK'S PLANE
REQUEST FROM MRS MOLLISON WISHES TO FLY IT IN AIR RAGE (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By. Telegraph—Copyrigh, RUGBY, September 23. (Received September 24, at noon.) Mrs Amy Mollison has asked to be permitted to fly Miss Liverpool I. in the Portsmouth-to-Johannesburg air race. The machine is the, one Mr Campbell-Black was piloting when he was killed. No decision is being taken until the relatives of Mr Campbell-Black have been consulted as to whether they desire the machine to compete. FUNERAL OF AVIATOR PLANE NOT TO COMPETE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 23. (Received September 24, at noon.) The funeral of Mr Campbell-Black took place in London to-day. It was attended by many distinguished representatives of civil aviation and the theatrical profession. They included Sir F. C. Shelmerdine (Director-General of Civil Aviation) and Mr C. W. A. Scott. It is announced that Mr CampbellBlack’s aeroplane, Miss Liverpool 1., will not compete in the London-to-Jo-hannesburg race. ,
