CHINESE AND JAPANESE SITUATION TENSE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright , SHANGHAI, September 18. (Received' September 19, at 1.30 p.m.) Fighting, including the firing of shots, has occurred between Chinese and Japanese soldiers at Fengtai. It is stated that Chinese Guards made insulting gestures as Japanese troops were passing the Chinese barracks. The situation is tense.
