IMPERIAL CHEMICALS INTERIM DIVIDEND UNCHANGED. _ % The New Zealand attorney for Im- , perial Chemical Industries’ (Sir Harold Beauchamp) has received cable advice from London that the board of directors has declared an interim dividend of 2f per cent, on the company’s •ordinary shares, payable on November 2. This is at the same rate as •last year, when the full dividend was 8 per cent. ADELAIDE STEAMSHIP . SLIGHTLY; LOWER PROFIT. The report of the Adelaide Steamship Company, Ltd., for the year ended June 30,' states that, after providing for depreciation or fleet and plant and increasing the insurance reserve by £IO,OOO, the net profit was £139,312, compared with £139,651 in the previous year. The balance brought forward was £587, making £139,899 available. The directors recommend payment of a dividend at the rate of *7 per pent, per annum for; the. half'year "(ended June 30, 6 per ■cent;' for the year, Unchanged. K.D.V. BOXES LTD. NET LOSS OF £8,405. Boses Ltd/, for the year ended June 30 discloses a net loss of £8,405, against profits of £4,806 and £2,414 respectively in 1935 and 1934. _ A dividend of 8 per cent, was paid in 1935, but there is no recommendation this year.
