DEATH IH HIS DUTY LEAVES SICK BED TO ATTEND URGENT CALLS [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, September 10The death has occurred of Dr Thomas Beveridge Davis, aged 51. Dr Davis had been ill for 12 days, and his death followed a relapse as a result of rising from his bed to attend two urgent calls during the bitter weather of last week. Dr Davis was trained as a school teacher, becoming tutor and librarian at the Dunedin Training College. He then studied at Otago University, taking his Master of Science degree, and in 1921 qualified as a medical practitioner. He visited Scotland last year, and took his F.R.C.S.E, degree. Ho leaves a widow and three children, the eldest aged 12 years.
