NAZI BOMB OUTRAGES AIMED AT RUINING TOURIS. TRAFFIC Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. VIENNA, June 11. There was ah unprecedented series of Nazi bomb outrages during the weekend, though the newspapers are permitted to publish only the barest details.
An emergency meeting of the Cabinet at midnight resolved to create local defence forces throughout the country. It was announced that the forces are expected to act within the limits of the law, but will be fully protected if they overstep those limits through inadvertence. Cabinet, it was added, has positive information that the terrorism, which aims at ruining the tourist traffic, has its headquarters in Germany, and traffic has been held up on tho railways linking Austria with Italy and France.
The defence corps is empowered to search for weapons and explosives and clear up crimes of violence with the severest punishment and prompt employment of the death, penalty.
