CAPE TOWN, June 11. • (Received June 12, at 10 a.m.) Mr Victor Kennerly Rumford, the son of Dame Clara Butt, whose death was announced yesterday, was found dead on the floor of his room. The cause of death is now ascertained to be a gunshot - wound in the heart. He appeared in ordinary health the previous evening. ACCIDENTALLY SELF-INFLICTED. CAPE TOWN, Juno 11. (Received June 12, at 11.25 a.m.) Medical opinion is that Buniford’s wound was accidentally self-inflicted.
