The Government’s majority is likely to be reduced from ten to two, and the positions will be:— Nationalists 16 Labour 14 A feature of the polling is that Labour headed the voting in all five electoral divisions, but. the distribution of preferences will alter the position where the contests are reasonably close. The Premier (Sir William Lee) said that the voting showed a return to what 1 ' been the normal relationship between the parties before 1928, when the majorities were always extremely slender.
