Heavy Haulage Feat.— One of the four transformers for, the Waitaki power supply which was unloaded from the Cambridge at Port Chalmers and transported to the Wakari substation. The combined weight of the bogey and the transformer exceeded twenty tons, and the small bridges on the Dunedin-Port Chalmers highway had to be shored up with timber to withstand-the exceptional load.
