(Received June 9, at 1.5 p.m.) The Dominion Bureau 'of Statistic! reported to-day that the condition of the field crops'in Canada-at May 31 was the lowest during the twenty-six. yean which a record has been kept by it. This is mainly due to the drought. The fall wheat is only 45 per cent, longtime average, and all wheat 78 per cent. * AMERICAN YIELD. WASHINGTON, June 8. (Received June 9, at 1.5 p.m.) , The United States Department of Agriculture to-day .estimated' that the total wheat yield this year will probably not exceed 600,000,000 bushels owing to the drought conditions. It will be the smallest total since 1893, and about 125,000,000 bushels below domestic consumption. ' '
