HD. A DISTRICT DANCE The Social Committee of the No. 4 district will hold its usual dance in the South Dunediu Town Hall this evening. The-committee has set itself out to make these functions enjoyable to all. Last Saturday’s Monte Carlo winners were Mr Ford and Miss West and Mr Ciitriss and Miss Hinde. Last Thursday’s winners were Mr M'Laughlan and Miss Ramsay. The final of the fox-trot competition was decided, the winners being Mr Mellon and Miss Grainger. The Triumph Band, always, popular with patrons, will again be - present. SOUTH DUNEDIN CONCERT To-morrow evening in the South Dun. edin Town Hall an entertainment by well-known artists and music by the Pioneer Band will be given. There will be a silver coin collection, and the door* will be open at 7.15.
