DUKE OF GLOUCESTER

INVITATION TO SAN FRANCISCO Pm* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SAN FRANCISCO, June 7. After consulting the British Consul (Mr O’Connor) here the Chamber of Commerce has decided to invite the Dube of Gloucester to visit the city if he returns to England via Panama, and will ask the State Governor and the Mayor of San Francisco to make formal invitations. The chamber also suggests that it would be appropriate to have an American warship visit Australia and escort the Duke’s vessel across the Pacific.
