MAYORAL CAMPAIGN

Cr R. S. Black’s South Dunedin Committee held its weekly meeting last evening, Mr A. Smiley presiding over a very enthusiastic • meeting, mainly devoted to the completion of enrolment forms, some 300 being dealt with. The Ladies’ Committee presented a gratifying report, ami the general report showed indications of a very favourable following in this district. The candidate briefly addressed the meeting, and voiced Ids appreciation of the able manner in which the committee is working.
