BOXING
PAUL BEATS TROWERH In a fifteen-rounds contest at Christchurch last night Jack (Dunedin), 10.7, outpointed R. Trowern (Auckland), 10.6. The fight went the full fifteen rounds, and the margin of points at the finish Fas small. Paul’s very busy left bothered Trowern, who, however, was superior in footwork and in-fighting. One of the judges declared a draw, and the other a win for Paul. The referee gave his decision for Paul.
