RETURN OF CONNORS AND PAUL Judging by (ho interest which is being manifested in the. return season of Alike Connors and Qucenio Paul, and tho League of Notions Revue Company, an extraordinary success is assured the latest engagement for the Princess Theatre. This company, M'hich is just completing a record season for Wellington of eighteen weeks, has such all-round merit that no one can claim Such precedence as to he starred. There is no doubt that Syd. Beck, the leading comedian, is an exceptional purveyor of mirth, but such is tho standard of entertaining ability possessed by the other members that it is impossible to single out any member for special mention. Alike Connors and Qneenie Paul, the leaders in the company, are very firm favourites with local fans, M'hiio the Panlasto Brothers Mill be remembered for their clever buffoonery in dancing and acrobatic turns, and Aliss \ aleric Bengal and Air Bert Payne for their skilful and bright dancing. Lynn Smith’s Jazz Band is undoubtedly a big attraction, and again its presentations are sure to moot M'ith tho enthusiastic applause M'hich M'as accorded on the last occasion. There is a rich supply of vocalists, -while the Exquisite Six enhance tho beauty and charm- of cadi production M'ith '.striking success. The initial performance of the company is to eventuate on Saturday evening next, when, a groat welcome is being forecasted.
