GRAND AND PLAZA

A programme of special interest is now being screened at the Grand and Plaza Theatre. The outstanding production is ‘Lono Hand Saunders,’ a bright, outdoor story featuring the popular Western star, Fred Thomson, and his remarkable horse, Silver King. A story that revolves around the resolve of a,mau never to use his light hand again during the rest of his life is the theme of this production. Thomson does some remarkable gun play during the picture; it is especially noteworthy because it is all done with tho left hand, a feat tlie star had to learn and perfect for this particular role. Silver King, much to the audience’s delight, is greatly in evidence, and has some splendid opportunities to display his matchless talent and versatility. The east includes Bess Flowers, Billy Butts, Frank Hagney, Albert Priscoe, Bill Dyer, and William Courtright. The story is by Frank M. Clifton and tho continuity by Del Andrews. included in the programme is a breezy Gappy Ricks romance, ‘More Pay, Less Work,' another entertaining story from tho pen of Peter B. Kyne. Mary Brian and Buddy Rogers have the featured role's.
