REV. ROBERTSON ORR
THE IMMIGRATION LAW A BREACH ALLEGED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. [VANCOUVER, December 13. (Received December 14, at 11.5 a.m.) The Rev. Robertson Ory was held by the immigration authorities on information from Ottawa alleging that ho had entered Canada illegally. Orr was formerly pastor of a large Presbyterian church in Vancouver. He was suspended after inquiry into his conduct with a lady member of his congregation. Later he was made co-re-spondent in a divorce action brought by Gordon Fleck. Tho court held that adultery was proved, and granted _ an absolute divorce, with costs against Orr. The pastor lat»r assaulted the lawyer for Fleck, and was fined 100 dollars or two months’ imprisonment. _ His wife was the subject of a mysteriaus assault in his home after the divorce case. There are no details as to who laid the charge at Ottawa. Orr entered Canada from Wellington in 1930. Ho was arrested while attending » meeting of a commission to decide it his suspension was to ho permanent.—Australian Press Association.
