EXPENDITURE TO DATE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, December 12. In the House of Commons, Colonel Headlam informed Mr Wedgewood Benn that to the end of November £615,000 had been spent on the Singapore naval works. This was covered by the following contributions:— Hongkong, £250,000; Federated Malay States, £864,000; and New Zealand, £IBO,OOO, which had been approximated towards the cost of the works and the new floating dock.—Australian Press Association-United Service.
