Three ■ Indian. constables and six strikers wore: killed in Bombay in a clash between ■ the. police and cotton mill strikers, who were incited by Labour leaders. An infuriated mob of thousands marched through, the streets . and attacked a small picket of European and Indian police, who, being outnumbered, were compelled to fire, but were overwhelmed.
