VANCOUVER, February 29. Smothering the University of British Columbia with an avalanche of tries and goals at the start, the Waratahs gained assto 3 victory. They displayed the greatest speed and science seen locally for many years, and amassed 18 points in the first twenty minutes. The remarkable passing and deadly kicking bewildered their opponents throughout.

The Waratahs gave a wonderful display of passing, kicking, and running. At half-time the score was 27 to .3. Towers obtained the first try, and Wallace followed up Gordon’s punt for the second. Ross converted both. Tancred plunged over the line after a forward rush. Wallace then made an opening for Ford, who scored, Ross again converting the try. Ross kicked a goal from a penalty. Richardson ran 50yds on a dribble to give ’Varsity their try. Gordon again scored alter a run with 5 Towers and Wallace, and J. lancred went over on receiving a pass from J. Ford. In the second half Mann completed a fine run by scoring, Duncan converting Gordon next went over after a run from the middle of the field. Then Tancred dribbled over the line, Ross converting. Mann again scored from a pass by "Wallace, and Breckenridgo from a pass by Mann, Towers completed a run of 25yds by scoring, and Gordon got over after a run from behind his own line. Wallace scored the last try.
