CIVIL SERVICE ESTIMATES
A CUT AT HOME

A cut of £8,500,000 has been made in the Civil Service Estimates total of £292,000,000, and included:—Empire marketing £500,000, compared with £1,000,000 last year; overseas settlement £1,330,000, compared with £1,540,000; and the Department of Overseas Trade £321,000, compared with £329,000.
