(Received February 18, at 10.30 a.m.) To circumvent the irritation methods adopted by the crews of vessels which have completely dislocated the work of the lighthouse services, it is reported that the Commonwealth Government intends to create a branch of the Australian Navy to take over its tour lighthouse steamers. Tho vessels will be manned by ex-naval ratings, and will fly the White Ensign. Strict naval discipline will be enforced.
