(Received February 18, at 8.20 a.m.) Heavy Hoods have occurred in North Wales, the Border counties, and a portion of Derbyshire. Following fifty hours’ rain at Cor wen, many were rescued from the top stories of houses. The railways were damaged, traffic was held up, and stock was drowned. - A fishing vessel was wrecked at St. Kilda Island, and twelve of a crew of sixteen were drowned.—A. and N.Z. and ‘ Sun ’ Cable,
